Clothes Horse!

At 16 weeks old, I think Michael has more clothes than Rob and me put together! It seems like every time Baby Boy and I check the mailbox someone else has sent him more clothes! Not to mention all the clothes he got at Christmas. We are really thankful so many people love Baby Michael, and we definitely won't be turning down anything people want to send. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth right?!

With that said, I want to share some of my favorite outfits that Michael's received this past month.

This outfit is from our close family friend Elaine. I cannot stand how adorable and hilarious this shirt is! Michael wore it to physical therapy this week, and was breaking hearts left and right.

We got this outfit in the mail from my Aunt Calli. It's too big for lil M right now, but he is going to look so handsome in it once it fits. The inside of the sweater feels like a super soft and cuddly stuffed animal... I almost wish it was my size. ;)

This might be my favorite. Michael got this from Aunt Diane, Uncle Dave, Kyle and Nicole. This outfit is still to big, but Michael is gonna be super prep in this, and I can't wait! I think the orange belt is my favorite part, so freaking frat-tactic!

We got this in the mail just this week. It's from our friends Katie and Candice in St. Kitts. It's a little blue onesie from Rob's favorite beach- Reggae Beach. I was so happy that Michael has some SK clothes to wear, it is his ancestral homeland!

15 weeks already?

Ok, so I know it's been two weeks since I posted. I'm awful, what can I say? This time it wasn't cause I was lazy. We've just been kind of busy in strange ways. Rob has so many classes this semester, he is gone from 7:30-5:30 every day, so I don't have a ton of free time. On top that, I had to have my wisdom teeth out this past weekend... Worst timing ever. AND I had to take the baby to the doctor last week cause he has a pretty serious flat spot on his head.

So, where are we today? Rob had a surgery test today and I had to bring Freddy to him at 2:45 for a lab. (Worst idea ever? I think so. I told Rob to have his lab partners sign release forms, cause Fred will injure someone). I have four less teeth, but I do have two huge bruises on my face, so I look like a battered wife. Perfect, cause I'm sure the ladies at the physical therapy office this morning think I got beat up. Why was I at physical therapy? Cause Baby Michael's flat head is being caused by a case of torticollis. Basically his neck muscles are too tight on one side, and it needs to be corrected or baby boy has to wear a helmet or doc band. No thank you. So, we will be going once a week for the time being, and we have at home stretches to do several times a day.

Besides all that, things are just peachy. Michael is a pretty happy baby. The weekend before last was really beautiful and warm, so Rob and I took baby for a mini hike. The Athens Botanical Gardens have some really nice trails, and we walked down to and along the Oconee River. Once it gets warmer, I think we'll be there a lot- it's close, pretty, and FREE!

I finally updated the photo site, so check it out here!  I need to steal Rob's phone, cause he has pictures on there, but I'll save those for next time! As always, if you need the password shoot me an email, text, Facebook message, whichever!

I Make Three Months Look Good!

Baby Michael here, and today I am three whole months old today! Life is pretty awesome these days. I am getting so big! I hold my own head up (most of the time), I sleep through the night (almost), and I got my drivers license today (just kidding)! I am really good at smiling, and I am getting the hang of laughing. Of course I laugh at random stuff right now, but one day I'll laugh when mommy and daddy are being silly!

My goals for next month- being AWESOME!!

Hi there!

Well, I got lazy over the holidays and it's been awhile since I posted last. I only got to be lazy cause my mom, aunts, and grandmother pretty much allowed me to hold baby Michael only when I was feeding him. They were greedy. Being a mom makes girls even more crazy then they already are- I liked having a break, but I was also super jealous when anyone else held him. Preg brain apparently makes moms stupid AND psycho.

Michael's first Christmas was nice, it's really a shame he won't remember it! He got a whole stocking full of fun stuff, about 763 outfits, a bunch of books (including a personalized book from I See Me, freaking adorable), sunglasses, and cold hard cash. He made out like a bandit! He is so lucky to have such a generous family! (Also, Rob and I are pretty lucky to have them too).

About 6 weeks ago someone asked me if I had big plans for New Year's Eve. I tried not to laugh in their face as I said no, cause I have a new baby. In reality, we did go to a party at our friends house. At 9pm, I though it was 3am. Michael rang in the new year by sleeping through the whole party. He was very thoughtful.

Want to know who isn't thoughtful? UGA's vet school. Rob had to back on the 2nd! Not all of UGA, just the vet school. So lame. I was thinking to myself, I should write a blog post, but yeah, didn't happen.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised I got to write one today. Lil' M woke up at 5:30 and decided he was gonna scream and cry for the next 8 hours. He finally fell asleep around 1:30. Thank God, cause I was starting to lose feeling in my arms from rocking him. Actually, besides today baby boy has been pretty good. He is starting to play with his toys (kinda) and he is talking (kinda) a lot now! He is also holding his head up a lot, this may seem boring to you out there, but once he can hold his head up on his own 100% I can stop worrying that his little neck is gonna snap if I'm not paying attention... Which would never happen cause I am always paying attention. Ever vigilant.

Oh, sounds like I'm up for another 8 hours of crying, gotta jet. Motherhood is so magical sometimes! I'll try to update the picture website soon!
